"The American Dream: Living in abundance and telling yourself and your family, I made it! Absolutely! But aren’t there alternatives to the USA? Yes! We have the ultimate insider tip!"
Are you dreaming of the American Dream? “If you make it here, you make it anywhere.” The USA has virtually no social safety net, but it is also a country full of opportunities! Are there solid reasons to emigrate to the United States?
Do you want to pursue entrepreneurship, or is it more of a dream to relax in Hollywood or under the Florida sun?
Let’s put aside natural disasters like tornadoes, floods, wildfires, and even gun violence for a moment. While they are widely reported, they are still exceptions.
If you’re considering emigrating to the USA, you need to be aware that the cost of living is extremely high. A regular pack of sliced cheese can easily cost $8–9, and sliced salami around $10. Rent in major cities can range from $3,000 to $5,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
So, moving without capital is not an option. At least $50,000 should be available, and if you plan to start your own business, you should budget for significantly more.
The American way of life. The land of entrepreneurs and go-getters! So why not emigrate to the USA?
Of course, that still holds to some extent—a true entrepreneur will push through anywhere. But do you really need to face the hurdles of ever-rising costs and high taxes and fees, just to live the American spirit?
The American Dream: Living in abundance and telling yourself and your family, I made it! Absolutely! But aren’t there alternatives to the USA? Yes! We have the ultimate insider tip!
We’re not talking about Dubai—while it does have low taxes, the cost of living is similarly high to that of the USA.
Yes, there is—and it’s in Eastern Europe. Our example: Romania
Please ask yourself the following question:
Do you want to go all in on your self-employment for a few years and build private wealth, so that on average,
Straight to the point: Move to Romania and pay only 1-3% tax when founding a corporation? (Plus 8% tax on profit distribution to private assets) Yes, you heard that right! If you live in Romania, you could keep around €900,000 from a €1 million company profit at the private level.
Be skeptical and question it, but at GO EU, we have assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs based in Romania, where they pay only 10% in taxes, with the rest going into their private assets.
If you are interested in company formation and moving to Romania or Bulgaria, we would be happy to hear from you. You can find more information in the video description.
Thanks to our expertise, we have developed a setup that allows us to establish a company, including a bank account, 100% remotely—without any travel required. And the best part? It’s completely legal and accessible to almost everyone through GO EU!
Health insurance in the USA can be very expensive if you’re not employed. A private health insurance plan can easily cost $1,000 or more per month. There is no statutory health insurance, at most, a government-assisted health insurance program for those in need.
In Europe, and especially in the West, people are used to having many vacation days. In the USA, however, this is rather uncommon, especially when starting a new job. There is no statutory vacation entitlement, so it’s up to the employer to decide. In many cases, employees have to negotiate their vacation days.
First and foremost, you need a permanent residence and work permit, known as the Green Card, if you want to permanently emigrate to the USA.
There are certainly many disadvantages, but of course, there are also a number of advantages to living in or emigrating to the USA. In the end, it’s a personal life decision and simply a matter of preference.
Bulgaria has a very simple tax system for all types of businesses, with a flat tax rate of 10%. The unique advantage with GO EU – and only fully available at GO EU: Only 5% – 7.5% corporate tax, plus 5% dividend tax on profit distribution to private assets. This results in a total tax burden of around 10%, meaning that approximately 90% of the company’s profit ends up in your private account.
We specialize in the two countries Romania and Bulgaria. -> See About us
Based on this expertise, we have created a setup that allows us to establish a company including bank account 100% remotely, i.e. without any travel. And it's completely legal and can be implemented by almost everyone via GO EU!

Just look at the Currywurst Man or Bastian Yotta—emigrating to America can start with huge hype, you make connections quickly, and your business takes off. But I think reality hits hard when you trust the wrong, superficial people. If you fail in the USA, you fail big, because there’s no safety net from a social system. That’s fine, but with the extremely high cost of living, it’s incredibly tough for an average person to even get a foothold in the USA. To be honest, at that point, I could even see myself choosing Romania instead.

Europe > USA! Simple as that—Europe rules. Serbia, Albania, Croatia, or Greece… well, Romania is definitely attractive too! But look at the amazing countries we have in the EU—rich in culture and with low taxes. You can achieve success just as well in our neighboring countries!

I somewhat like living in Germany. Relocating is not my plan for now. But I’ve read that you can legally establish a company within the EU while staying compliant with German authorities? Can I also manage the company from Germany, even if I don’t emigrate at all?

Starting a company within the EU is a common process that happens daily—including cases where the founder’s main residence and place of living are not in the country of incorporation but rather in their home country. The incorporation itself is not an issue. Regarding tax recognition by the home country’s tax authorities, it is important to note that everything is based on the Double Taxation Agreement (DBA). As long as its guidelines are followed, recognition is ensured. This approach is used by hundreds of thousands of businesses and is a completely standard process, not a legal gray area.

A lot of self-initiative is required in America. I moved there years ago. We had to learn a lot—and fast. It was a real learning experience! Comparing it to Germany doesn’t help. Many people struggle with that, making life and the adjustment harder for themselves.

A colleague moved to the US for work and ended up stuck in the healthcare system—$300 just for a basic check-up without insurance. It’s things like that that make you think twice about living there.
